Every rating on this site is the result of the same hands-on process and the same set of criteria, applied consistently to every casino we review. We think you deserve to know exactly how those scores are reached, so this page lays out our methodology in full — what we measure, how we test it, and what the numbers mean. Our ratings are our own independent judgement, formed by funding real accounts and playing the way you would.
The criteria we score
Each casino is assessed across the dimensions that matter most to a Canadian player banking with Interac. We weigh the following:
- Trust and fairness — the casino’s track record, reputation and how clearly it treats players, including how openly it presents its terms.
- Games and software — the size and quality of the library, the studios behind it, and the range across slots, live casino and table games.
- Bonuses and promotions — the real value of the welcome offer and ongoing deals, judged on their terms (wagering, limits, expiry) rather than the headline figure.
- Banking and Interac — how well Interac works for deposits and, crucially, for withdrawals, plus minimums, fees and payout speed in Canadian dollars.
- Customer support — the availability and quality of help, whether by live chat, email or a help centre.
- Mobile experience — how smoothly the casino, the games and the cashier work on a phone.
How we test
Scores are earned, not assumed. For each casino, our team registers an account, completes verification, and funds it with a real Interac deposit so we can measure speed and reliability first-hand. We play across the library, claim and work through the bonuses to understand their terms in practice, and contact support with genuine questions. Then we test the part players care about most — a withdrawal — to see whether Interac is available for cashing out and how long the money actually takes to arrive. Only after we have lived with a casino do we assign its ratings.
What our scores mean
We rate each criterion out of ten, and the overall impression reflects how a casino performs as a complete package for Interac users — not just its strongest feature. A high score means a casino does the fundamentals well and adds genuine value on top; a middling score flags real trade-offs worth weighing; and we are not shy about marking a casino down where it falls short, for example when Interac withdrawals are limited or a bonus is buried in conditions. Because no casino is perfect, every review pairs its score with an honest summary of strengths and things to keep in mind, so the number is never the whole story.
Our independence
Our ratings are our own, and they are formed the same way every time: through hands-on testing rather than marketing claims. No operator can influence its rating, and a strong reputation does not earn a free pass — if a casino falls short on Interac withdrawals, support or fair bonus terms, the review and the rating say so plainly. We hold every casino to the same standards, we apply the same criteria across the board, and we would rather lose your attention than your trust. That consistency is what makes a comparison meaningful: a score here means the same thing on every page.
Keeping our ratings current
Online casinos change — bonuses are revised, cashiers are updated, and quality can rise or fall over time. We revisit our reviews and ratings as those things shift, and we update the details when offers or conditions change, so the comparison you see reflects the current picture rather than a snapshot from launch day. If you ever spot something that looks out of date, we want to know, because the value of this site rests entirely on staying accurate and honest.
